Our 2024 Panel has officially been announced! Not only will we be raising money for the Hops Fund, we'll get to enjoy an evening of baseball stories from our esteemed panel.

Ciera Jones

Jones serves as the Softball Programs Coordinator for Friends of Baseball, a local non-profit in Portland, and was recognized by Positive Coaching Alliance as a 2024 National Coach of the Year award winner. Ciera continues to find herself on the diamond as the head softball coach at Clark College.

Ila Borders

Borders is a trailblazing figure in the world of sports and public service. She made history by becoming the first woman to receive a scholarship to play men's collegiate baseball before going on to become the first woman to pitch in and win a men's professional baseball game. Borders now serves as the Training Captain for Clackamas Fire.

Rachel Folden

Folden was hired by the Chicago Cubs in 2020 as the lead hitting lab technician before being assigned to the ACL Cubs in 2021. She was the first female coach in Cubs history. Rachel spent the 2024 season with the Cubs Double-A affiliate Tennessee Smokies as the team's Hitting Coach.

Ronnie Gajownik

Gajownik joined the Diamondbacks organization in 2021, spending the season as the Hops Video Coordinator. She returned to Hillsboro in 2023, becoming the first female to manage at the High-A level. In 2024, she served as the bench coach for the Double-A Amarillo Sod Poodles. Ronnie was also a member of the 2015 USA Women's Baseball Team that won gold at the Pan-American games.
